💡There are three steps in total for the setup. Remember to read through the article and complete all three settings to successfully connect everything!

💡You need to click the arrow ▶︎ on the left side of each main step title to see the complete instructions! Since there is a lot of content in the article, we suggest that once you've completed a step, you can collapse the step by clicking the arrow ▼ to make it easier to browse! 😊

💡There are FAQs at the bottom of the article. If you encounter any problems during setup, you can check there first~ If the issue remains unresolved, you can directly contact Nuli App's customer service, and we'll assist you as soon as possible! 🧡

Step 1: Connect to Health Connect

  1. Please go to Play Store to download Google Fit, which will serve as your phone's pedometer.

  2. Log in to Google Fit, tap "Profile" in the bottom right corner.

  3. Tap "Settings" in the top right corner.

  4. Turn on "Keep Fit synced with Health Connect" → "Settings" → "Allow to read and write steps only."

  5. Scroll down the settings page and check if "Track your activities" is turned on. This setting allows Google Fit to detect your steps. If you have other wearable devices sending step data to Google Fit, please don't turn this on to avoid duplicate data.

Connection setup is complete! 🎉 Your Google Fit will now track your steps on your phone and send the data to Health Connect platform. 🙌

Step 2: Connect MyFitnessPal with Health Connect

  1. Open "MyFitnessPal."

  2. Tap "More" at the bottom right.

  3. Select "Don't Track Steps" in the steps section.

  4. Scroll down and tap "Apps & Devices."

  5. Tap "Health Connect."

  6. Tap "Connect."

  7. Manually enable permissions for "MyFitnessPal" and select "Allow All."

Step 3: Connect Nuli App with Health Connect

  1. Open Nuli App.

  2. Tap "View Complete Data" at the top of the main page.

  3. Tap "Click here to link data" under the calories section.

  4. A Health Connect linking screen will pop up, remember to enable "Allow All."

Setup completed! You've successfully linked the data! 🎉

🔔 Important Notice:

Please note that data recorded before the connection won't sync to the Health App. For example, if you consumed 500 calories before linking, those 500 calories won't be recorded in the App. Therefore, the first day's data might be less accurate, but from the second day onwards, all data will be fully synchronized!

FAQ 🤔:

Why isn't any data appearing in the App after linking, or why are the calorie numbers inaccurate?

🔔 Synchronization Notes:

• Health App connectivity on Android systems may require longer processing time.

• Only data added after enabling the connection will sync to the Nuli App.

⚡️ Methods to Speed Up Synchronization:

  1. After adding food in MyFitnessPal.

  2. Tap "More" → "Sync."

  3. This will immediately update data to Health Connect.

  4. Nuli App can then read the latest data.

💡 Reminder: Historical records before activating the Nuli App connection feature will not sync. Please remember to record food portions only after enabling the connection!

Why is the total calorie goal in the Nuli App different from the total calorie goal in MyFitnessPal?

Currently, the Nuli App can only read basic data through Health Connect, and MyFitnessPal can only send data to Health Connect. However, please rest assured that this won't affect the quality of your diet tracking! Your coach can still directly view your detailed food diary recorded in MyFitnessPal.

Why are the calories and nutrients always different between MyFitnessPal and Nuli App after synchronization?

If you notice discrepancies in nutrients and protein data after synchronization, please follow these steps:

  1. Open MyFitnessPal.

  2. Tap on the "More" option.

  3. Go to step counting settings and turn off the step tracking feature.

  4. Completely close both Nuli App and MyFitnessPal.

  5. Reopen MyFitnessPal and perform synchronization.

  6. Open Nuli App again to check if the data has synced correctly.

This adjustment should resolve any data discrepancies. If you're still experiencing issues, please don't hesitate to let us know! 😉

Why don't I see my steps count in the Nuli App (or why is it different from my other step-tracking app)?

I don't see my steps count in Nuli App.

If you don't see your step count, it means you haven't properly connected your step-tracking app to Health Connect. Here's how to check:

1. Open Health Connect.

2. Select "Data & Access."

3. Choose "Activity."

4. Select "Steps."

5. Verify if your step-tracking app appears in the "Read" section.

If your step-tracking app doesn't appear in Health Connect:

- Open your step-tracking app

- Go to Settings

- Connect to Health Connect

- Note: Only allow reading step data permissions

🔔Important Note:

If you don't see the option to connect to Health Connect in your step-tracking app, we recommend switching to Google Fit for step tracking. This is because Nuli can only read data from Health Connect sources.

Why does my step count in the Nuli App differ from my step-tracking app?

If you experience the above situation, it might be due to issues with your step-tracking app's data source priority. Here's how to check:

1. Open Health Connect.

2. Select "Manage Data."

3. Choose "Data Sources & Priority."

4. Look for the "Activity" section.

5. You should only see your step-tracking app listed here.

🔔Important:

If you see additional apps listed, click "Edit" and remove them. This should make your step count match between your tracking app and the Nuli App.
